Session Overview

The Nigeria Momentum: Why 2030 Will Look Obvious in Hindsight?

Economic transformations rarely announce themselves. They emerge gradually, visible first in where capital flows, where talent concentrates, and which sectors begin to scale ahead of consensus. Nigeria appears to be in the midst of such a shift.

This session introduces Four Thematic Investment Playbooks developed by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment in response to the emerging forces shaping Nigeria’s next growth chapter. These focus on 1) Solid Minerals and Industrial Value Chains; 2) Digital Trade and Technology Infrastructure; 3) Creative Economy and Cultural Exports, and 4) Climate and Green Industrialisation.

The playbooks are designed as practical investment guides. They organise complex markets into clear opportunity maps, bringing together market data, trade intelligence, case studies, incentives, and institutional pathways in a format that supports real decision-making. Built through engagement across ministries, agencies, and market actors, they reflect delivery realities rather than abstract strategy.

This launch is an invitation to engage with Nigeria’s future in real time. By 2030, many of today’s debates about Nigeria will feel dated. The rise of these sectors will feel self-evident. The only real question will be who recognised the pattern early.
